We went to the strawberry patch this afternoon. This was so fun for the boys. They ate more than they picked. I can say that we will be eating strawberries for a while and mom is going to try her hand at making freezer jam. Our house smells of fresh strawberries. Yum!
Freezer Jam - My favorite! And so easy too (: Looks like fun! There were HUGE strawberry fields in Ethiopia (a town called mojo) where they imported strawberries from Israel every year. They covered them in white plastic and it looked like snow - so fun!

ReplyDeleteOh fun memeories! I did strawberry picking once and was allergic to something they sprayed with and swelled up like crazy...looked like someone beat me up!
