Korea we're here!

Well we are finally here in Korea. We have been here for seven days now and are getting used to the heat. It is so much more humid than I ever remember North Carolina being and don't want to be out in it for very long. We have been told that this will only last for about three more weeks. We are also getting used to the sleeping schedule. Today we actually woke up at 7 am compared to 3 am that we were experinceing the rest of the week. We have been so busy this week with getting in processed, and I mean WE. The boys have had to come along with both of us to the class and making sure that we have new id cards and ration cards. We are ready for our new apartment. We have found one we like but have to wait for it's approval. We are so ready to have our own space and to have a place for the boys to play. Hopefully we will be in an apartment in about 2-3 weeks, if not sooner. We are aslo trying to get used to city life. The boys are telling us that it is so much louder here than North Carolina. Isaiah says that it looks like New York. The boys have become very popular amongst the younger Koreans working in the shops they are always talked to and are asked questions about their ages and where they are from. We thought that the boys wouldn't be as interested in the TV here because it is mostly in Korean, but they watch it intently, and try to find the few words that they do know.

Our new apartment in the distance. (We hope, just waiting for approval!)

Just excited that the boys were in bed by 6 pm. We had been up since 3 am and were ready for some much needed down time.

The boy's new school!

Hey, we still know what this is!

We had to go under the street to cross to the other side where all of the shops were and discovered that there are tons of stores under the road. It is packed with people at night and usually opens about 10-11 am, so when we took the pictures it was before opening.

Downtown Daegu at night! Very busy!!!
