They're gone!

The past few days our birds have been venturing out on the ledge of their nest. Well two of them were. The nest is quite small to accommodate four growing birds and it has been humorous to be watching them peck at each other when mommy and daddy were away. We have been talking to the boys about the birds getting too big for their house and they are probably getting ready to start to fly. They had started practicing in the nest for quite some time. So on one morning when the boys and I were home together I left the house to empty some trash and Isaiah followed me out, but stayed on the porch. As I was coming back into the house a small bird flew past my head, and when questions what had happened Isaiah exclaimed, "I wanted to see them fly and I knew that they could, so I shook the tree." Needless to say that when one left, with in a few hours they had all flown away. He really is a great kid and can usually find a way to get what he wants. Didn't they turn out pretty cute?

Our Graduate!

Isaiah graduated from preschool tonight. He is now an official Kindergartener. Wow how time flies! He was so proud in his cap and gown. He looks so handsome. He looks ready to start going to the big kid school. Are the parents? Probably not! He will be going to a school on post that is a K-8th grade school. Yikes! But the class sizes are pretty good.

Isaiah's preschool put on a little western program after the graduation ceremony and Isaiah is sure a performer! The kids learned sign language for quite a few of the songs. They have been practicing for the program for quite some time now and it sure paid off. We are so proud of him!

Taking a little peek!

We now have four little baby birds and we have been having a great time watching them grow. The birds are starting to get brave and look up and over the side of the nest. This one has a little mo-hawk going on and we think that they are getting a little cuter.

Our ugly little babies!

I know that the picture is a little blurry, but our two bird eggs has turned into four and we now have had two hatch. They are pretty ugly now, but we are expecting good things to happen just like in the story of the Ugly Duckling.

Good Friends

This is how I found the boys tonight watching Scooby Doo! Hey, they can get along sometimes and they really do love each other. I am so proud of my boys and am loving every minute in watching them grow up right before my eyes.
