Our Graduate!

Isaiah graduated from preschool tonight. He is now an official Kindergartener. Wow how time flies! He was so proud in his cap and gown. He looks so handsome. He looks ready to start going to the big kid school. Are the parents? Probably not! He will be going to a school on post that is a K-8th grade school. Yikes! But the class sizes are pretty good.

Isaiah's preschool put on a little western program after the graduation ceremony and Isaiah is sure a performer! The kids learned sign language for quite a few of the songs. They have been practicing for the program for quite some time now and it sure paid off. We are so proud of him!

Taking a little peek!

We now have four little baby birds and we have been having a great time watching them grow. The birds are starting to get brave and look up and over the side of the nest. This one has a little mo-hawk going on and we think that they are getting a little cuter.

Our ugly little babies!

I know that the picture is a little blurry, but our two bird eggs has turned into four and we now have had two hatch. They are pretty ugly now, but we are expecting good things to happen just like in the story of the Ugly Duckling.

Good Friends

This is how I found the boys tonight watching Scooby Doo! Hey, they can get along sometimes and they really do love each other. I am so proud of my boys and am loving every minute in watching them grow up right before my eyes.

Strawberries and our new pet

We now have a Chipping Sparrow mom on our front porch. We noticed a lot of activity from two little birds for the past week or so and on Saturday night we wandered onto or porch where they had been working and discovered the nest. Saturday evening there weren't any eggs inside, but by Easter, the little Momma bird was sitting on the nest a lot. So Monday afternoon while she was gone, we quickly got a picture of the inside of her nest. Two little eggs. Yay, the boys can watch her through our front door windows and are anxiously waiting to have baby birds squawking. Braxton just can't believe that they would use the fake trees as a home, but we keep telling him how smart that they were for selecting our porch because when it rains they will be protected and safe, and they won't have to worry about the wind knocking the nest out of the tree either.

The strawberry patches here are open and ready. We have had quite a lot of rain here lately and I promised the boys that when the patch was open we would go. After a few rough weeks here with tornadoes and quite a bit of rain we finally were able to have a morning where it was clear until about 11 am we decided to go as quickly as we could. We brought a little neighbor with us and the kids had a blast just eating. Yum! Can't wait to eat the pie tonight for dinner.

The Actual Cake!

It's three days late but we were able to celebrate Isiaha's birthday in our hotel room in Florida. He's officially 5.
